In August, Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl and 10-year-old Nandi Bushell started a drum-off challenge. Bushell started it by playing “Everlong” and dared Grohl to play it too. He did, along with “Dead End Friends” from his side project, Them Crooked Vultures and called for her to do the same.
Bushell has responded with her cover of the song, saying:
“It was an honour to be part of the most #EPIC #ROCK in battle in history! With the most awesome, fun, kind and legendary Dave Grohl! Thank you for giving me this incredible opportunity. I am extremely grateful. The Rock Gods of old are happy!”
Grohl conceded round one but said it’s not over yet:
“You win round one….but it ain’t over yet! Buckle up, cuz I have something special in mind… Stay tuned, Dave”
