The name of the army recruit from Wisconsin who was found dead in his barracks has been released.
Officials at Fort Jackson in Columbia, South Carolina say 29-year-old Private Michael Wise was found dead Saturday. Reports say he attended Kewaskum High School and leaves behind a pregnant wife and two-year-old daughter. Officials say his death is not related to COVID-19 or to an active field training exercise.
