The coronavirus pandemic has made apartment/house shopping and interesting exercise to say the least. Many people looking for housing are renting sight-unseen – which is not the most optimal conditions for somewhere you’re choo-choo-choosing to be living.
A U.K. man found this out first hand when he saw his new dwelling and just said, “D’Oh!”.
Days before moving in, Charlie Lucas-Smith took a look at his new flat on Google and he saw something surprising – a GIANT Simpsons mural on his new house. The mural depicts Bart Simpson on a side wall with another giant Homer Simpson wrapping around the house, surrounded by donuts.
Lucas-Smith said of his new flat:
“I wanted to see if there were any parking spaces, and when I put the address into Google Maps it suddenly sunk in where I was living. I sent a photo of it in the group chat and said ‘surely we’re not living here. Luckily, it’s right up my street at the end of the day and something I find really funny, and I’ve always been a massive fan of The Simpsons.”
