A new fund created by the former owner of Wohlt Creamery in New London will help a series of projects in the New London and Fremont areas.
Marilyn Taylor died in 2017.
Community Foundation for the Fox Valley Region President Curt Detjen says 10 nonprofits are benefiting. He says $250,000 will be used to help with a new library in New London, and $100,000 is going toward upgrades at the Fremont library.
A ride service in Waupaca County, and the Mission of Hope House homeless shelter in New London are also getting grants.
