For the second-straight day, the state shattered the previous record for confirmed coronavirus cases.
There are 2,533 more cases, up from yesterday’s record of 2,034. The state is reporting 19.3 percent of tests were positive. The seven-day average is up to 15.3 percent.
There have been 97,279 confirmed cases overall. The state has 12,839 active cases, and that’s up 61 percent over the past 14 days.
Hospitals are treating 47 new COVID-19 patients, and 347 overall. Another 148 are waiting for test results.
Seven more people died, bringing the total number of confirmed deaths to 1,238.
Winnebago County has 207 new cases, Brown 170, and Outagamie 160.
Fond du Lac added 73, Calumet 50, Manitowoc 37, Kewaunee 32, Shawano 30, and Waupaca 23.
Green Lake and Oconto each have 15 more. Waushara added 10.
