The Oshkosh Common Council will vote tomorrow on a proposal to put a local mask mandate in place.
The governor’s order is set to expire on September 28th.
City Manager Mark Rohloff says the council wanted to have the chance to extend a city-wide rule, if necessary. He says if the state would do something to extend its order, they wouldn’t need to take action.
Because a large crowd is expected for tomorrow night’s meeting, the city is holding it at the downtown Convention Center.
