Prosecutors are filing some charges against the suspect in a Green Bay double murder.
Twenty-eight-year-old Oscar Lemus-Franco of Green Bay is also accused of leading police on a high-speed chase, and slashing an officer’s face with a knife.
Police say two men were shot to death in an apartment building on Clement Street, near Baird Creek Park, on Green Bay’s northeast side Monday night.
They were related to Lemus-Franco, and police say officers spotted him driving on the east side.
They say he crashed in the Broadway District, and attacked an officer with a knife. They report Lemus-Franco also cut his own wrist before he was arrested, and he’s at a hospital.
The officer is recovering at home.
Lemus-Franco is facing several charges, including mayhem and battery to an officer. Prosecutors haven’t charged him with the murders.
