Sure we’ve ALL done stupid things when drunk. But (thankfully) we didn’t have a house-full of friends recording it to live for all of eternity.
A college student from the U.K. got a bit ‘tipsy‘ and – by the urging of her flatmates – decided to showcase her flexibility and attempt to contort her whole person into a dryer.
Hull University student Rosie Cole had to be rescued by firefighters when she got stuck in her dryer on a dare — and her housemates couldn’t pull her out.
Boredom and alcohol contributed to the dryer delema. Tequila shots and wine were the social-lubricants for this fiasco when they dared their friend to take a tumble.
“It wasn’t until I wiggled both my hips in and got my legs crossed behind me that I realized I couldn’t get out,” Cole said.
The local fire department was called to help it situation under the impression that, “…They help cats out of trees, so they should be able to help with this.”
“I definitely won’t be trying it again, Cole said, It was definitely not one of my finest moments.”
Realizing and learning from one’s mistakes is a good thing, however, she also offered a lame excuse for her poor judgment: “I never do my own washing anyway,” Cole said. “I’ve never even used the dryer — but maybe I should start putting my clothes in it when they’re not on my body.”
Good idea.
