The state has nearly 3,000 new confirmed COVID-19 cases.
There are 2,988 more, and that’s the second highest single-day total, behind yesterday’s 3,132.
The state is reporting 21 percent of tests came back positive. That’s the highest since 22 percent on September 29th.
There are 27,516 active cases. That’s almost 3-1/2 times as many, as one month ago.
Hospitals are treating 138 new coronavirus patients, and a record 907 overall. Almost 300 others are waiting for test results.
Another 16 people died, bringing the overall number of confirmed deaths to 1,440.
Brown County has 213 new cases, Winnebago 146, and Outagamie 135. Manitowoc and Oconto both added 62.
Shawano has 60 more, Fond du Lac 53, Calumet 45, and Waushara 37. Waupaca has 23 new cases, Kewaunee 20, and Green Lake 16.
