Two people were taken to a Fond du Lac area hospital after being rescued from a car that crashed into the Fond du Lac River yesterday afternoon.
Fire crews were called to the area of Division and Macy streets around 3:30 p.m. and found a car, with two people inside, in the river. Firefighters wearing special water rescue suits saved two adults.
Police are investigating the cause of the crash.
