New coronavirus case numbers remain at near record high levels. The Department of Health Services reports 5,922 positive tests today–down slightly from Wednesday’s record. 38% of tests were positive. There were 38-deaths reported today–bringing the statewide total to 2,194. Fond du Lac and Waupaca Counties reported two deaths each. Outagamie, Brown, and Winnebago each had one death.
1,747 people are hospitalized–with 360 of them in intensive care.
Outagamie County added 362 new cases today. Brown County had 291. Winnebago County was up by 143–while Calumet County reported 50 new cases.
