Wisconsin sets a new single-day record for COVID-19 deaths. Ninety-two people died on Monday–smashing the previous high of 66 reported last Tuesday. Six of those deaths were in Outagamie County. Waupaca County reported four deaths. Winnebago and Oconto counties saw two deaths each. Brown, Fond du Lac, Shawano, and Waushara counties each had one. The statewide death toll is now 2,741.
The state Department of Health Services reports 7,090 new cases today–with 32-percent of tests coming back positive. Brown County had 223 new cases. Outagamie County reported 106. Winnebago County had 90 new cases–while Calumet County was up by 51.
