An Oshkosh man that killed a former police detective reaches a plea deal with prosecutors. Ian Suzuki is convicted in Winnebago County Court on a reduced count of First Degree Reckless Homicide. Suzuki had initially been charged with First Degree Intentional Homicide–which would have carried a mandatory life sentence. He stabbed Jay Puestohl to death during a fight at his mother’s home back in February of last year. Suzuki now faces up to sixty years in prison when sentenced on March 8th.
