An Outagamie County firearms dealer will spend six months in federal prison for the illegal sale of silencers. Jerry Lee Olson is also sentenced to three years on supervised release. Olson was doing business as Warrior Arms when he sold at least 17-silencers to customers in Wisconsin and Minnesota without approval from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives. Federal prosecutors say there is no proof that any of the silencers were involved in the commission of any crimes or were transferred to people not allowed to own firearms.
