A Missouri man accused of killing two Shawano County brothers won’t stand trial until next year. Garland “Joey” Nelson will be tried February 7th of 2022 for the murders of Nick and Justin Diemel. Nelson allegedly killed the Diemels on his farm in July of 2019 when they came down there to demand payment for some cattle. He then reportedly hid the bodies in manure pits and elsewhere on his property. The trial is expected to last three weeks. A conviction could carry the death penalty.
