Fond du Lac man crashes car after being shot

Fond du Lac Police say a man involved in an early morning crash had been shot. The 39-year old Fond du Lac man was found unresponsive behind the wheel of a vehicle that had smashed into several parking meters and a pole along South Marr Street just after two a-m. When he was brought to the hospital, it was discovered that he had a gunshot wound to the leg. The man was airlifted to another facility–where his name and condition have not been released.
