I’ve had this exact nightmare a number of times in my life.
A driver is lucky to be alive after his truck fell off an exit ramp bridge at the Zoo Interchange and plunged about 70 feet, landing below on Interstate 94.
It happened around 9:49 a.m. Saturday, according to the Milwaukee County Sheriff’s Office. Wisconsin Department of Transportation video shows a red pickup truck crashing into the side of a ramp and toppling over it, falling 70 feet to the road below as cars pass by.
Miraculously the driver was conscious and breathing and did not show signs of impairment.
The driver is lucky to be alive but imagine having lived through this horrific experience and then having to re-live it every time you use this or another overpass from now on.
