Wisconsin lawmakers want to rename Green Bay bridge for Bart Starr

A group of state lawmakers want to rename the Walnut Street Bridge in downtown Green Bay in favor of Packers legend Bart Starr. Representatives David Steffen, John Macco, and Kristina Shelton–along with State Senator Eric Wimberger–are all from the Green Bay area. Starr passed away in May of 2019. The state would use donated funds to put up signs and maintain them on the bridge.
