The Oshkosh Corporation lands another huge contract from the U-S Government. Oshkosh Defense will build the replacement fleet of delivery vehicles for the U-S Postal Service.
The contract calls for between 50,000 and 165,000 new trucks over the next ten years, with a potential value of more than $6 billion.
USPS has committed $482 million for Oshkosh to complete engineering and design work and to begin factory build out for production.
