An Oconto County woman that abused children at her unlicensed day care reaches a plea deal with prosecutors. Nicole Brewer is convicted on four counts of Child Neglect Causing Harm. Four other counts are dismissed. Parents had complained that their children had suffered serious injuries while staying at Ryan’s Rascals day care–which Brewer operated in the town of Chase. An investigation found that Brewer did not have a day care license, took cash payments only and never reported the income, and allowed her convicted sex offender son to work there. She faces up to 41-years in prison when sentenced on May 11th.
