Many of us in Wisconsin have had at least one close call with deer while driving. Some of us have actually had the misfortune to hit one. I can personally sympathize with the driver of the BMW in the video below after having come in close contact/impact with an actual heard of deer.
Mine happened in the early 90’s on highway 49 near Berlin. A literal heard of deer came out of nowhere and I hit at least one with my Ford Escort GT , disabling it until my parents came to get me from the safe confines of the farm house I found refuge in.
So when I saw this video it brought back some of my own deer/car PTSD.
We head to Oakland County, Michigan to see the vehicle get engulfed in a heard of deer that go up, around, on and over the BMW. The collision was captured on the dash cam of an Oakland County Sheriff’s cruiser.
Miraculously no deer or humans were seriously harmed in the incident.
