As many as one-quarter of middle and high school students in the Appleton School District will not return to the classroom this spring. Superintendent Judy Baseman says 25-percent of parents have decided to keep their kids at home when grades seven thru 12 return to in-person learning four days a week next month. To accommodate those families, the Appleton School District will continue to offer fully-virtual learning for all classes until the end of the spring semester.
