The below video of a guy fending off an attempted car jacking brings to mind two movies ‘Zoolander‘ for the ‘gasoline model fight’ and ‘Point Break‘ for the ‘chase/flamethrower’ scene.
The entire thing takes about 10 seconds – nine too long if you’re one of the robbers.
A van pulls up – hot – and as guys tumble out in a robbery attempt, the dude filling his car with gas just casually gives the would-be thieves a nice petrol rinse. The car thieves were fully and completely soaked from top to tail with gas at the end.
This simple action did the trick as they bid a hasty retreat – themselves and their van covered in gasoline.
I wouldn’t imagine it feels too good on your skin, mouth eyes or to have to breathe it in for an extended period of time.
Shortly after the incident each of the robbers was issued a warning, “Extremely Flammable Keep Away From Open Flame“.
