Check me if you’ve heard this one before but a tourist risked getting mauled by a grizzly bear… for a picture.
Unfortunately, it happens way too often.
A woman got out of her vehicle to get up close and personal with some bears.
Tourists are warned not to get out of their vehicles. She did.
Tourists are also warned to give bears, wolves, etc., at least 100 yards of distance. She did not.
She was warned by fellow onlookers not to do it. She still did.
Only a grizzly charging at her made the woman retreat back to the vehicle she never should’ve gotten out of in the first place.
Check out this clip of a @YellowstoneNPS grizzly bear bluff charging a tourist that got too close. Darcie Addington took this from the safety of her vehicle. She doesn't know the other woman, but says several people warned her. Remember to give bears at least 100 yards of space. pic.twitter.com/7rnMgKGNxm
