Do those LOUD Gas Pump Advertisements / Entertainment Clips annoy you?
A San Antonio man is being praised as a ‘hero‘ for sharing where to find the ‘MUTE’ button on gas pumps.
Reddit user u/Collinnn7 took to the r/sanantonio subreddit to share a secret he accidentally discovered – where the button is to MUTE those annoying gas pump ads.

“I was trying to press the button to bring up the ‘Print Receipt?’ screen and I hit the mute button by mistake. The volume on the ad shut off and I didn’t know if it was because I had pressed the [button] or because I was finished pumping.”
Unsure of whether the button he pressed was the magic mute button… using ‘scientific method’ he tried the same button again the next time at the pump. And…?
“I pressed the same button to test it and it muted the advertisement!”
Now, he’s sharing the fortunate discovery with others.
