The Shawano County Sheriff’s Office releases the name of an Appleton man killed in a weekend crash.
Thirty-six-year-old Adam Brown died when his motorcycle hit the back of a pickup truck along Highway 47 in the town of Hartland. That pushed the motorcycle into the path of an oncoming minivan going in the opposite direction. A 13-year old Appleton boy riding with Brown was also killed. His name hasn’t been released.
The 71-year old Shawano man and 64-year old Shawano woman in the van were taken to a hospital with serious but not life-threatening injuries. The 65-year old Black Creek man driving the pickup truck wasn’t hurt.
