Welcome to Jurassic Park circa ’81
Newly-found video just surfaced of a Van Halen promo video from the Italian “Prehistoric Park” of Rivolta D’Adda.
The band was touring Europe in support of their “Fair Warning” album.
These music videos aired on Italian state television, RAI 1, during a TV show called “Happy Circus”.
Van Halen’s Italia Fan Club found this exceptional video clip and shared them with fans all over the world – so”Grazie” to them.
The video is possibly even more bare-bones than the “Jump” video. It’s just the band air playing to the track and basically Dave serenading and simultaneously dry-humping a Brontosaurus. BUT we do get a nut-sack shot from one of the caveman figures – so at least we got that going for us.
My only question here is… WHY didn’t the band choose to shoot the video by the Wooly “MAMMOTH” statue (shown briefly) seeing that was the band’s name before settling on Van Halen?
Some questions will never be answered.
