Before the pandemic Lynyrd Skynryd were set to say farewell from the road. Now they say because of the pandemic they have decided to keep on rolling by booking a new 13 day tour called The Big Wheels Keep on Rollin’ Tour. As of right now there are no Wisconsin dates. Guitarist Gary Rossington said in a video posted to the band’s YouTube channel:
“Covid turned our world upside down. And since that time, we have been talking amongst the band, and realized that music has such a way of healing. Maybe it’s not our time to go. And maybe it’s our time to lift people’s spirits and lives and bring back some joy and happiness after so much turmoil this past year.”
