Winnebago County GOP faces backlash from post

The Winnebago County Republican Party is facing backlash over a social media post. The party put a meme on Facebook Monday morning featuring a white man and the phrase “Knowing the warning signs of White Supremacy” that is followed by a list: One–Full time employment. 2–Literacy. 3–Professional or technical degree. 4–Regular church/temple attendance. 5–Auto insurance. 6–Good credit rating. 7–No criminal record. The post is followed by hundreds of critical comments–including from known Republican party members.
