July 9th marks what would have been the 75th birthday of legendary AC/DC singer Bon Scott who passed away in February of 1980. In honor of this, the estate of Bon Scott, which is run by his two brothers and his nephew, has launched the website BonScottOfficial.com. They released a statement saying that they did this to raise his “legend…”
“We’re tending to his legacy. Bon was a unique singer, songwriter, and character that the world should never forget… This is an invitation for Bon’s fans and friends to gather and share their memories and observations of him and his music. His legacy lives in the hearts and minds of those who love him.”
You can also find testimonials from his former bandmate Angus Young, from Steve Perry formerly of Journey, and from Judas Priest singer Rob Halford. Plus there’s this video of Bon with his early band Fraternity covering The Band
