Unemployment is up in the Fox Valley

Unemployment is on the rise in the Fox Valley. The Department of Workforce Development reports the jobless rate in the Appleton area in June was three-point-seven percent. That is up half a percent from May. Unemployment rose five-tenths in the Oshkosh-Neenah area to three-point-nine percent last month. Green Bay’s jobless rate also increased half a percent in May to four-percent.
