It’s time to take the red pill and go back down the rabbit hole of the Matrix film series with the release of the first trailer for ‘The Matrix Resurrections.’
We pick up with Neo (Keanu Reeves) living his life in what looks to be the real world? But as we know nothing is as it seems in the Matrix universe. We see a scene where ‘Tom’ (Reeves) re-unities with Trinity (Carrie-Anne Moss) but she has no recollection of who he is… and maybe he doesn’t know either, outside the Matrix.
The plot has been very closely-guarded but given how groundbreaking of a film series the original Matrix trilogy was, from the looks of the trailer, we can expect more of the same innovative filmmaking from visionary director Lana Wachowski in this fourth installment.
