Video below of an Australian Raven taking a perceived personal intrusion in its air space into it’s talons and attacking a Google delivery drone.
Wing is operated by Google’s Alphabet, has been delivering everything from coffee, medicine, and office supplies to Canberra residents since 2019. But last Tuesday announced it would be pausing its services due to several reported incidents of ravens attacking drones that stray too far into their territory.
The Raven v. Drone attack was captured on video and posted online by local resident Ben Roberts, who orders coffee every morning with the service. Roberts told The Canberra Times: “It’s a matter of time before they bring one down. They think it’s Terminator or something.”
