Agropur lands state tax credits to aid in expansion

A Little Chute dairy lands four-point-five million dollars in state tax credits. Agropur will use the money toward its new 168-million dollar cheese factory expansion. The business tax credits will be paid out if Agropur meets hiring and capital expenditure goals required by the state. The new plant is expected to employ 54 full time workers and process more than 750-million pounds of cheese a year using milk acquired from local farms.
