Just ask Siegfried & Roy… or not because they’re both dead now.
So ask ‘Joe Exotic’… Oh yeah that’s right… jail.
Carole Baskin?
Anyhoo… ask anyone with even a basic knowledge of ‘exotic cats’ and I’d imagine they’d tell a person who’s untrained, being in close proximity to these creatures is a bad idea that would end in death… or an early feeding.
Case in Point: The video below.
A tourist, 56-year-old man surnamed Jiang, was filmed breaking into an enclosure for white tigers in a wildlife park in Beijing, China. He ignored staff’s warnings. The tigers seemed to tolerate the tourist before they were successfully distracted by the park’s staff.
The tigers were lured into their cages after the staff members threw firecrackers and food at them. After which Jiang was extracted from the enclosure, detained by the police and is under investigation for “seriously damaging public order.”
He stood just a few feet from 11 white tigers. While doing so, he made noises attempting to communicate/provoke the animals.
Anyone else think that the ‘circle of life’ would’ve been far more helpful in preventing such future behavior?
