To protect and to serve… lunch. That’s what a police officer did when the arrest of a DoorDash delivery driver led to a lunchtime conundrum… mainly, who’s going to deliver the customer’s lunch if the driver is in the clink?
That fell upon Sioux Falls police officer Sam Buhr.
The description on Tik Tok says of the incident: “The officer showed up at the home of Anastasia Elsinger with her food order from Arby’s. Knowing she’d be surprised and confused, Officer Buhr explained, “I know, I’m not who you’re expecting but your DoorDash driver got arrested for some things they didn’t take care of.”
It is unknown what the driver was arrested for.
Thus far the video has been viewed 11 million times.
So something’s getting delivered at least.
