I suppose since this is Australia this particular Man v. Kangaroo video falls into the ho-hum level of “dog bites man” news there – but thankfully for us here in the states, the man bit back and fought off the kangaroo – KRIKEY!
The stunning video emerged of the Man (Cliff Des) vs. Kangaroo conflict from central Victoria, Australia where apparently Des and kangaroo tussled as he defended his dogs from the ‘raging, six-foot ‘roo’ after it went rogue in his yard.
Luckily (for Des – not the kangaroo so much) he’s a former MMA trainer, because the brawl that lasted over six minutes!
The pair boxed, wrestled and even employed weapons-training as Des hit the kangaroo with a stick during the fight.
The conflict finally ended when Des pinned the mad marsupial to the ground and it scampered off.
Des didn’t escape unscathed though, the kangaroo bit Des’ finger, gouged his head and clawed his legs before finally taking off.
A great Australian story of survival to be sure.
