We can in fact see John Cena after all, or at least a teen fan who’d fled the way in Ukraine can. Plus he flew thousands of miles to do it.
Misha Rohozhyn, who has Down’s Syndrome and is non-verbal, was reportedly wildly upset by his family’s move to Amsterdam until he was told they were going there so he could meet Cena, who he idolizes. When Cena got wind of the story, he made sure the plan unfolded in real life by flying to Europe to sit down with the boy.
In a video, Cena said “When I read about Misha’s story, it reached out to me — not just Misha’s story, but the story of Misha’s mom as well. Having three days off from work right at the time when I read this story, and being an hour away by air, it turned immediately into, ‘We’re going.’”
