The down under proprietor of a tourist lodge in Australia has a simple yet effective way of dealing with native interlopers to the area… a frying pan.
In the video below, taken by one of the lodge’s guests (Shane Chambers), we see a croc chilling by the lodge – blocking the path to an awaiting helicopter that’s supposed to take the guests off the remote island located in Australia’s Northern Territory.
The lodge owner (Kai Hansen) apparently has a love / hate / frying pan relationship with the croc whom he refers to as a pet – even naming him “Casey.”
Chambers said, “We were leaving the island via helicopter and the croc was blocking the path. The owner was worried about our safety, so he grabbed the frypan to shoo the croc away.”
As the crocodile begins to charge, Hansen smacks it on the snout twice. The animal then scurries back to the water. Clearing the path for the guests.
Shoo… Smack Over the Head… either way the message was received loud and clear by “Casey.”
