Man’s Best Friend, huh?
A home in Parkville, Missouri went up in flames when a family dog accidentally went all “Hells Kitchen” on it.
Southern Platte Fire Protection District division chief, Chris Denney, said the dog put its paws on the cooktop and activated the touch controls which ignited a pan that had leftovers in it.
The dog shockingly ignores the Costco-sized box of dog treats within paw’s reach on the counter for some reason.
Denney also stated, “New appliances are being seen with touch controls that activate by the simple touch of a finger. An animal’s paw can also activate these types of controls.”
Two dogs (including the pyro) were recovered from the home and the blaze was extinguished, a fire official said. No one was injured.
