David Lee Roth seems to be fondly looking back at his time as the frontman for Van Halen. He has just released an acoustic song called “Nothing Could Have Stopped Us Back Then Anyway.” The song which is definitely a walk down memory lane features of the modern guitar greats playing along. He’s done is own solo albums, has played for Marilyn Manson and currently is the guitarist, and has been for the better part of two decades, for Rob Zombie, his name is John 5.
“There’s a song that I just can’t wait for Dave to release. It’s called ‘Nothing Could Have Stopped Us’ and it’s about Van Halen. It’s my favorite song that I’ve ever done with Dave, and it is beautiful. I don’t know why he’s not releasing that one yet. And I just can’t wait for people to hear that one. ‘Cause it’s about Van Halen. It’s just absolutely wonderful. I just am really looking forward to him releasing that one.”
This is Roth’s second song in three weeks, having released “Pointing at the Moon” earlier in the month.
