It’s SO HOT people are strapping actual fans to their pets.
A Tokyo garment maker has teamed up with veterinary surgeons to create a wearable fan to help cats and dogs endure the summer heat.
It’s called the ‘Cool Dog‘ vest. Rei Uzawa, president of Sweet Mommy, says she was motivated to create the vest after seeing her pet chihuahua exhausted from their scorching summer walks.
Each fan weighs three ounces, and it’s attached to a mesh vest designed to circulate fresh air through their fur and across their body. They come in five sizes that fit small to medium-sized dogs, and also cats.
