April 27th Madeira Beach, Florida
Police stopped a woman suspected of driving while intoxicated. According to the police report, the woman showed multiple signs of impairment during roadside sobriety tests including slurred speech and performing ballet and Irish folk dances while attempting to walk a straight line.
Now that she’s gone to court, the video of her sobriety test has been released.
In the video, the woman, Amy Harrington, struggles to walk in a straight line . . . but then tries to impress the police by performing a dance routine, including some drunken pirouettes.
One of the officers asked her to stick to the instructions, she said, “Oh my God! You sound like my [effing] ballet coach.”
