GREEN BAY, Wis–Three Green Bay Police officers involved in a shooting incident are cleared of any wrongdoing. The Brown County District Attorney’s office says the officers were justified in opening fire on Russell Lonas during their response to a disturbance call on Chapel View Road back on July 20th.
Officers Cameron Boersma, Shawna Coron, and Christopher Vaubel have been returned to active duty. Lonas suffered non-life threatening injuries and is facing a number of criminal charges.
