APPLETON, Wis–An Appleton contractor is hit with additional fines by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration. Town City Construction owner Able Hernandez faces penalties of $349,000 for failing to ensure the safety of his roofing employees.
An OSHA investigator found Town City workers at heights of greater than six feet at risk of serious or fatal injuries in May and June of this year.
Hernandez has been cited numerous times before, with fines totaling $633,000 since 2004. OSHA says that Town City has failed to pay most of those previous fines.
