When outside animals try to make their way inside our homes it’s a problem. The same can be said for when the outside animals try to store their food inside our homes… it’s a problem and in this particular case a big 700-pound problem.
A homeowner in GLEN ELLEN, CA had a woodpecker that was doing what came naturally to it, pecking into the side of his house and using those holes to store acorns.
Enter Nick’s Extreme Pest Control.
Once on the scene, they found that the acorns were deposited into the house but were falling in the empty spaces between the walls. When they cut a hole in the wall to clean out the acorns, 700-POUNDS of acorns came pouring out like a slot machine jackpot. If you were a woodpecker or a squirrel you’d be thrilled with such a windfall but as the homeowner – not so much.
Eight, large garbage bags were filled with the stockpile of acorns after all was said and done – with the pest control expert saying, “Never seen anything like it.”
When you can surprise the experts like that you’re either doing something really good or really bad – just depends on what side of the wall you’re standing on.
