Maybe this is part of the Amazon Prime membership where you get two day delivery EVEN if your house is in the middle of a police standoff.
That’s exactly what happened last month in Cary, North Carolina when, despite an overwhelming police presence, an Amazon driver decided to compete his appointed delivery through the middle of an ACTIVE standoff.
Dedication or Cluelessness?
That’s a very fine line here but, undaunted, the driver just casually strolls through a dozen or more vehicles with lights-a-blazing and then was about to walk the package up to the FRONT DOOT of the residence in question but is (finally!) stopped by an armed SWAT officer, hands him the package and takes a picture to confirm the package was delivered.
People are praising the delivery person’s dedication – others are questioning his decision-making skills.
Either way – Amazon delivers.
