APPLETON, Wis–The delays in the trial of a Kaukauna man accused of trading child pornography on the internet are now approaching forty. Travis Huss sees a trial scheduled to start on Tuesday pushed back to May 23rd.
This is at least the 37th trial date set in a case that dates back to 2015, Huss is accused of having illegal images of children engaged in sexual activity on his home computer. The multitude of trial delays have been caused by Huss changing attorneys, the pandemic, and issues with evidence.
He faces up to 250-years in prison if convicted.
