APPLETON, Wis–A 38th delay is granted in the trial of a Kaukauna man charged with Possession of Child Pornography. The trial for Travis Huss, which was most-recently scheduled to start tomorrow (Tuesday), has been reset to August 22nd.
Huss was arrested following a July 2015 raid on his home which allegedly turned up illegal images on his computer. There was a mistrial in his case in 2016–and since then, there have been more than three dozens delays in holding a new trial. Some of those included issues brought on by the pandemic, multiple defense attorney changes, and challenges to evidence.
Huss faces up to 250-years in prison if convicted.
