Why did the toads cross the road? Obviously to get to the other side but it was quite the wild ride for many drivers to witness recently in Utah.
In the event some have dubbed Toadmageddon, thousands of small toads were part of a mass migration across a country road in Stockton, Utah Wednesday, leaving witnesses and biologists stunned at the massive scale of the exodus.
In what some biologists are calling a “Biblical Scale” toad migration, literally thousands of baby toads decided to cross the road in a mile and a quarter stretch of a Utah highway due to recent rain storms.
Unfortunately many of the little leapers did croak as they we met by passing cars on the busy stretch of highway but the majority successfully navigated the asphalt and made it to the other side of what you can temporarily call Toad Road.
